There are many…
Expressions of freeze and collapse:
One of the most misunderstood human experiences: self-sabotage.
Procrastination (missing deadlines, delaying plans, changing plans last minute)
A lingering sense of shame and identifying as a failure.
Depression, lethargy, and chronic fatigue.
Overextending yourself followed by periods of burnout.
Using food & substances to push through or calm down.

Are You Often…
Stuck in a Freeze Response?
Freeze and collapse are natural body responses to perceived threats. Constriction, dissociation and numbness are nature’s way of making us less seen and sparing our bodies unnecessary suffering when we can’t fight or escape a threat.
But what happens when your body perceives everyday stress as a threat?
Does your body see the pile of work tasks, laundry, or bills as a predator?
Do you label yourself a serial procrastinator or
someone who struggles with self-sabotage?
It’s not your fault. It’s your body’s (freeze) survival reflex in action.
The good news is - you can learn to move through this. In my free 6-part email series, you’ll receive practical guidance on how to interrupt these patterns

If Tension and Stress Lead to Freeze, What Relieves It?
Instead of using the usual go-to’s during moments of tension (pushing through it or collapsing under it), this email series will give you simple somatic wisdom & practices to relax tension and stress, no matter what your life throws at you.
We will de-stigmatize procrastination and self-sabotage, and stop the painful loop of shame and judgment.
How?
By learning to relate with our body in a way that makes it feel safe to move toward what we want with confidence.

Inside the emails…
We will explore:
The roots of the freeze response and how it shows up in our lives
Procrastination and self sabotage as a message, not a failure.
The biochemistry of safety : nourished nerves and adrenals that aren’t working overtime
What role ADHD plays in freeze (I often rename ADHD as RITC. The Radical Inability To Conform.)
The magic in allowing yourself to live a life that excites you.
A recipe for supporting your body to come out of freeze.
The medicine of movement for those stuck in freeze or collapse.
How pleasure thaws freeze, and what it means to soften into support.
A guided pleasure practice (It’s so good. I get tingles every time I do it.)

About Your Guide,
Luis Mojica
Understanding how what you want (desire) isn’t always congruent with your body’s ability to handle it (capacity) can be truly life changing. It was for me.
Capacity is based on your body’s ability to soften instead of constrict. It’s about your liver’s ability to remove excess adrenaline from your bloodstream. It’s about your nervous system regulating properly so you don’t feel threatened in safe environments.
When I lacked capacity, I lacked the ability to tolerate big sensations - good and bad.
And understanding that helped me shift from:
“I must really hate myself if I always ruin good things”
to
“I can build capacity in my body for what I want to be / achieve / and do.”
I want that for you too.
Which is why I’ve dedicated my career as a Somatic Educator & Nutritionist to teaching people how to find safety in themselves. I would love to have you with me for this free series.
