About me…
My name is Luis (rhymes with peace) and after many years in private practice I started a podcast & an Instagram page to share my techniques with more people.
I come to this work from my own history of PTSD, absolute self-hatred, and hopelessness. I bring my heart to this work and I see it as a privilege and an honor to teach with anyone who shows up in my spaces.

What are my credentials? I'm not a trained psychotherapist — by choice. I'm a trained Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Herbalist, Holistic Nutritional Counselor, and Life Coach. Still, I credit my own life experiences, and how I recovered from them, as the best training I could have ever received.
I was born into this human experience with an intersex expression, which caused my body to produce more estrogen than testosterone. My puberty was ambiguous because I developed breasts and wide hips while also fully developing male genitals.
I received a lot of unwanted attention from my peers which turned into several accounts of sexual assault, endless bullying, and absolute self-hatred.
I was filled with so much fear and shame that my body hurt, and the only way to quell this internal pain was to binge eat lots of heavy, comforting foods. I developed severe asthma, cystic acne, high cholesterol, was 50 pounds overweight, and was diagnosed with ADHD, Tourette’s, and Nervous Ticks.
At the age of 15 I discovered music and was gifted a new way to be with myself. Music is my medicine because it helps me meet my unconscious parts and integrate them. The feeling I got from playing and singing and writing is what I call safety.
This new feeling became my compass and I would begin looking for more music, people, places in nature, foods, and anything else that would create this feeling inside of me until it all became Holistic Life Navigation.
Now I get to teach people from all around the world how to relate to themselves in a new way. Through whole food nutrition, somatic experiencing, and self-connecting this strange and sensational human experience becomes much more pleasurable - even with the inevitable traumas and pains we will experience.
I learned that when I liked being in my body I liked being in life. It is one of my greatest privileges to teach people how to experience their bodies with greater love, curiosity, and pleasure so that they can experience their lives similarly.
