You do not need to experience sexual assault to sexually fawn.
Many people sexually fawn in long-term relationships with people they love and trust.
Some even think they’re enjoying a sexual experience but their bodies are telling a different story. Let’s learn together how to listen to the body and attune to your authentic yes and authentic no.
A word from your facilitator, Luis Mojica…
Throughout middle school, I survived a series of sexual assaults and molestations by sexually fawning. My body knew that my best chance for survival was to acquiesce, not fight back, and even pretend to enjoy these unwanted experiences.
This quickly went from a survival strategy into a style of relating. I relied on this to secure my connection to friends, casual encounters, and even long-term partners.
I only knew how to say yes.
Now I understand and experience the freedom, power, and true pleasure that emerges from breaking this pattern — and I want to share that with you.
Learning how to feel my actual yes and no has changed my sex life, my marriage, and my relationship to the entire world because my pleasure and my boundaries are intact.
